Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream Round Up
So a few days ago Perseph and I (seriously, babe, four syllables!? You expect me to type that?) loaded up with three varieties of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Ice Cream (CCCDIC) to see just how real the cookie dough is. We made up some refreshments for an exhausting evening of testing, and then proceeded to bake cookies.
At this point, it became clear that we'd need backup. I enlisted the ballerina reindeer (note the mistletoe skirt) and the cat:
Onwards! The first ice cream we tested was Ben and Jerry's:
After many mechanical solutions failed, we turned to slave labor for cookie dough extraction. Best part is you never have to feed 'em!
The extracted cookies: Note the machine-shapedness of the dough.
After cooking in the toaster oven (400 degrees for three or four minutes) - they look just like real cookies! They taste like real cookies, too:
There are few pictures, but rest assured all Ben and Jerry's cookies were consumed.
This post is LONG! Part 2 will appear tomorrow, or at least sometime soonish.
